Born and raised in Marseille, France, Manu Chevalier is an independent songwriter, composer and producer with a musical universe rooted in Disco, Funk and Pop, alongside Soul, Jazz, Bossa Nova, R&B, Reggae and Dance influences. His work combines the energy and groove of classic 70s and 80s music with contemporary Pop and West Coast sounds.
Over the years, Manu has had the opportunity to be mentored by established, multi-platinum and award-winning songwriters and producers, including Shelly Poole (Alisha’s Attic), Paul Statham (Dido, Kylie Minogue), Morris Pleasure (Earth, Wind & Fire, Michael Jackson) and Jeff Franzel (Taylor Dayne, *NSYNC), among others.
As an artist, Manu has released several singles and his debut album, Manu Chevalier Presents Planet Groove From Marseille, in 2025. His music has received international radio support and chart recognition, including several #1 positions on Redline Radio’s local Top 40 in Switzerland.
His latest single, “I’m alright” featuring Lumina B, released in 2026, has reached the Top 15 in the Emerging 300 Artist chart.
Manu also has extensive experience as a live musician, having performed as a saxophonist and background vocalist.
